ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER

The Carmel Valley Angel Project, Inc. invites ALL Carmel Valley residents to our Annual FREE Community Thanksgiving Dinner. This is a typical family-style Thanksgiving meal prepared by volunteers under the direction of a fine caterer.

We especially recognize the food-preparation labor provided by long-time Angel-Project friend, Michael Jones', A Moveable Feast.  This dinner was conceived by Michael and Dorothy McEwen in 1997. For the last 18 years, Michael and his staff prepared the entire meal:  turkeys, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, vegetables, roasting all night. The roasting task is now shared by another Carmel-Valley resident, Todd Fischer, chef of Tarpy's Roadhouse.  Todd and his staff roasted our fourteen turkeys, carved them and prepared the 10 gallons of from-scratch, gravy.  Thanks to the Carmel Valley Community Youth Center which provides the site of our annual free Dinner.
Please drop in from noon to 3 pm and enjoy this annual community dinner with us!  The event is held at the Carmel Valley Community Youth Center Hall, 25 Ford Road, in Carmel Valley Village.

We have turkeys and other groceries generously donated wholesale; we work with local chefs; we do prep from scratch, and are always looking for culinary talent who will donate time.

If you are able to volunteer for the 2017 Thanksgiving Dinner, please send us a message through the form below. If you are able to make a a tax-deductible donation for our grocery shopping for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner you may use the secure donate button on our DONATE page or simply mail a check to:
